Most customers will ignore the air vent on the metal dome when they plan to design the metal dome array. Actually, whether it is single key, or multiple key, we will add the air vent on the original drawings of the customers when making samples. As the name implied, the mainly function of the air vent is to release the “air†from the dimples of the metal dome when pressing the metal dome. Besides, adding the air vent is to make the feeling get better when touch.
If there is no air vent, there will be a certain chance that the metal dome not come up when pressing. Of course, the single key dome array may not have an air vent when the diameter is large and the height is relatively high.
